Gnarnia Studios is a recording and mixing studio based in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, built as a handcrafted retreat for focused creative work.

The studio was designed and built in house. The acoustic panels, furnishings, and much of the physical space were constructed by hand, with attention given not only to sound but to how the room feels to spend time in. The goal was to create a space that feels warm, lived in, and comfortable, somewhere with character and soul rather than a sterile production environment.

Our role in a session is to serve the needs of the artist and help clarify what they are ultimately trying to achieve with their work. Gnarnia operates as a facilitative space that supports focus, momentum, and decision making. Technical execution is handled with consistency and care throughout the process.

Much of the studio’s equipment is vintage and character driven, chosen for musicality rather than prestige. Many pieces have been restored or rebuilt in house, contributing to a sound and workflow that feels tactile, personal, and intentional.
